Managing Analytics for your video

The Analytics tab allows you to control how CPD and MI information is recorded and shown for your media.

Professional Development

South Africa Only

This section refers to South Africa content only. It will be updated for other regions in due course.

The Professional Development tab allows us to ensure CPD is recorded correctly for users.

You can select the relevant CPD Category from the dropdown list. This information should come from the South Africa team.

The FPI approval number will be supplied for some South Africa content. This needs to be entered to ensure it appears on the user's CPD record for your video.

Viewing Logs

Owner

Viewing logs can be tracked and attributed to an Owner taxonomy term. This will ensure your video is included in any reports for clients or topics.

To link your video to an owner tag select the Add existing owner option. You can start to type the name of your client or topic into the field and it will autocomplete. You can select the relevant owner term once it appears in the list.

Meta

The meta section allows you to add in your own information to pass to the analytics tracker. This would allow the data team to run reports based on these without client or topic reports showing the information automatically. For more information on what you may need to add here please contact the web or data team.

The supplied media checkbox should be clicked for media supplied directly by the client. This allows for a quick report to be run based on supplied media regardless of the owner tags.
